Please, when will it start? And one week after it starts, I will say, "I miss my kids so much. I miss the help they are with the babies. I hate getting up early in the morning to get them ready. When will summer be here?"
We start the 25th of August. But, we got out later than AZ. Although I love school days, I do not enjoy homework, piano, dance, Activity Days and everything else crammed into the short afternoons. Summer is just relaxed! Good luck with it starting soon though.
Hey, my kids start the 12th this year. I am so excited, I am looking forward to the quite in the house, and getting some Jannabanana time. I am looking forward to getting things done before chad comes home for some much needed R&R. I love my kids, I really truly do.....but I love it when they are in school. hehehehehe. Does that make me bad??
p.s. The only thing I *don't* look forward to is the registration fees (sports/dance, etc are expensive even when school sponsored!), uniforms, and back to school shoes. We're going green this year (yah, that's the reason...really! lol) and reusing last years backpacks and anything else that I can cram their little bodies into still fitting.
NOT BAD JANA. I love my kids too! Anyone thinks otherwise can go judge someone else. But seriously, I love routine. I'm all about having a routine and schedule...school makes that SO MUCH easier. Summer is fun, so is starting school again. I am a little aprehensive this year. My Emmie is leaving me all day. *tears up* If only her and Corwin could change places...Sigh
Both hands and feet and in the air to pronounce the I'm ready!!! I love the Staples commercial where the dad is taking the kids school shopping and the music is "It's the most wonderful time of the year" and he is dancing as he tosses the supplies into the cart. I think I'll change my ringtone to that song!!
Hey! Yes I definately remember babysitting your cute kids, but I don't remember the time your son put his hand through glass. It seems like that would be pretty memorable though! It is crazy to think that your kids are getting so big. They are darling!
Hi Rachel! I was blog hopping and was very excited when I found you! :) You have the cutest family!! I too have had the summer off and am ready to go back to work...seems kinda crazy to say! Take care! Love Heather Gamble (Oitzman)
Yep that sounds like me, alright! There was another time I was over there with Jessica (I can't remember if I was watching your kids or Danny's) but we SWORE we heard someone come in the front door. WE WERE SOOOO SCARED! So she called her mom and we took all the kids over to Anne's. I'm pretty sure Anne did more babysitting than I did that night. :)

We start August 4th and I am practically jumping up and down with excitement!!!
I'm a little excited for them, and pretty freaked out for me! I'm a total wimp!
I am excited for Rach and the kids.
Kids really enjoy school and are chomping at the bit to go back.
Rach will have 2 kids at home during the day (only 1 if we get Corwin in preschool) - what a change from 7 kids 24/7
Win/Win all the way in our home!
