BUH BYE! 80's green carpet!!!

This is why I've been MIA for the last couple weeks. We have been in renovation mode!
FINALLY!!! So we do it one room at a time (by we I mean my sweetheart The Man) empty the furniture then DEMO! My kids LOVED it.

The boys went to town and had the living room base boards and carpet out of the house in about an hour. Unfortunately my office has been the dump sight for all the furniture, books and toys that have been temporarily relocated, I just found my computer again a couple days ago.

Ready for the cutest thing ever? He wore the tool belt to be cool like his grandpa, who gave it to him. What was in it you ask? Tools? NAH...Band aids, in case he cut himself.

We still have 4 rooms left to do, 7 walls to paint and baseboards to put in trough out the house, BUT we started So that's something....right?

Our first french braid!

Briar has always been a little "lacking" in the hair dept. Very different from my other kids. When Emma was 2.5 like Briar is now, she had hair almost to her bottom. Well I am happy to announce that Briar's hair has finally reached french braid status. YAY! I'm so excited.

She's always so sweet, gentle, giving and loving to my kids. She is a classy, classy lady. (not to sounds all mushy or anything, she's just an amazing friend (I'm totally flashing the whetten gang sign right now homes)

Bath time~ After all Saturday is a special day, its the day we get ready for Sunday. So when all the work is done and the sun has gone to bed, its bath time and bedtime for the crazy wonderful kiddos.
